Top Tracks of Last Week

Hey guys… Like I said in my last post, I’m really sorry for the lack of content the last few days, it’s been a crazy week. I wanted to write a review of the new Chairlift record (hope to get it up this week), but other than that there hasn’t really been any prjoects to get excited about (well until I get my hands on “The Life of Pablo”). There has been some nice singles however, so here are tuk20’s top tracks of the past week:

SAINT WKND x Midway – Set It Out (HOTTEST TRACK OF LAST WEEK)
This groovy remix is just straight up FIRE. SAINT WKND decided to remix this track for 84′ and he sampled it PERFECTLY.

James Blake – Modern Soul
Track title says it all, although the instrumental behind Blake’s masterful vocal performance is kinda trippy. It messes these weird electronic noises with a set of large piano chords and the drums drop in and out without any notice. The song challenges you sonically and I kinda dig that.

Else – Tama
I’ve been following this french house duo for quite some time now. “Tama” is in my opinion their new EP’s definite highlight. Those dreamy, soft synths and that beat got me enchanted.

To discover the top tracks of the week before they are posted on tuk20.com, go follow my soundcloud. I repost all of my top tracks there.
